Counting On fans know that Mackynzie Duggar’s the eldest child of Josh and Anna. She’s just one year younger than Jim Bob and Michelle’s daughter Jordyn-Grace. The kids shared a special milestone, on the same day, at the same place. So, Anna Duggar took to her Instagram to share the sweet family moment.
Counting On kids at Bibletime with Grandma and Grandpa
The Duggar family often get together for their spiritual times and the kids, Mackynzie and Jordyn, went along to “Bibletime,” Anna explains. The next thing, in one of those inexplicable moments, both of the kids lost a tooth. Going onto Instagram to share the shared milestone to Counting On fans, Anna wrote, “Mackynzie and Jordyn both lost a tooth during Bibletime at Grandma & Grandpa’s house last night!”
Of course, fans reacted to the coincidence, with some of them talking about the “Tooth Fairy.” @Krissisue noted, “Busy night for the tooth fairy! Not too far to travel though! So sweet that they share these milestones together!” While other fans noted that it’s not likely the Duggar family believe in Tooth Fairies, others noted that surely one way or another, the family celebrates these types of milestones.
Coincidences in the large Duggar family
Given the size of the Counting On family, which expands almost monthly these days, coincides are bound to happen. All it takes is a little bit of time. For instance, TV Shows Ace reported this week, “an astonishing fact emerged. Apart from twins Jana and John David and Jed and Jeremiah, only two people in the family share birthdays.”
That article referred to Ivy Jane, the third child of Jessa Duggar and Ben Seewald. Jim Bob’s mom never shared a birthday with any of the Duggars until the little one arrived on May 26. Talking about babies, Josh and Anna Duggar expect their latest addition to the family. Popculture noted that on their Instagram, the couple posted about it. “We are expecting a new little one! As we watch our children grow and thrive — we look forward to baby six joining us this fall,” Anna said.
