Jill Duggar Dillard Misses Family Valentine’s Day Party: Is There Trouble in Paradise?
The Duggar family has decided to host a Valentine’s Day party each year. This year, it was on Monday, February 11. This is a fun time for the entire family to gather together.
Jana Duggar organized the whole get-together. She says that the family used to just do dinner on Valentine’s Day. This year, they are choosing to share sweet messages with each other.
In her post, Jana Duggar explains, “This year we each drew a name and wrote a meaningful note to that person about their character, what they truly mean to us and tried to express from our heart how much we genuinely love and care about them. I think each of my family members would say, this by far was one of the most meaningful times we’ve had together as a family. We took time to go around the room and read the notes out loud to the person we had written them to and expounded a little more on it. There were many tears shed and much joyful laughter.”
Then, Jana Duggar talks about how important this is and why. She says, “I think genuine, loving words, saying what that person means to you can speak louder than actions. Most of us tend to be caught up in our daily tasks and jobs and I think forget to express this to others.
In the comments, fans are all saying that they want to start using the Duggar family’s tradition for their own families!

At the party, she was able to capture a lot of sweet messages from one family member to another.
In Jana Duggar’s posts on her Instagram story and page, the Duggar family is also shown singing worship songs together. She posted a few pictures of the young kids at the party too.
Who went to the Duggar family Valentine’s Day party and who didn’t?
Surprisingly, nearly all of the Duggars were able to attend the party. This probably made Michelle and Jim Bob very happy! We can’t imagine they get to see all of their kids at once often.
The eldest Duggar son, Josh Duggar, made a rare appearance. He has been in trouble for some things he did when he was younger. Shortly after that news broke, he was caught using Ashley Madison, a site used for cheating. After all of these issues, it’s not often that we see him with the family.
Sure enough, Josh Duggar can be seen in a couple of the pictures that Jana Duggar shared with her followers!
On the other hand, Jinger Duggar Vuolo, her husband Jeremy Vuolo, and their daughter Felicity were not at the party. This is because they are currently in Texas.
What is more of a surprise is that Jill Duggar Dillard isn’t visible in any of the pictures or videos. Her entire family isn’t at the party. Some fans picked up on this and left comments on Jana Duggar’s Instagram post.
She quickly cleared up any potential drama though by saying that Jill had prior commitments. This could be the case, but maybe something else is going on.
Recently, Josiah and Lauren Duggar suffered a miscarriage. They can still be seen at the family’s party though. It probably helps for them to be surrounded by their loved ones!
