‘The Bachelor’ Bekah Martinez Gives Birth to First Child

Bekah Martinez fought for Arie’s heart on The Bachelor last season. Once she left the show, she ended up getting pregnant with her first baby. Now, she has given birth! Though the gender is not known yet, the baby is super adorable from what can be seen!

The Bachelor Alum Gives Birth

According to E! News, Bekah Martinez welcomed her first baby today. She and her boyfriend have been dating for a while now. Bekah’s boyfriend shared photos on Instagram of the new baby who looks adorable!

He captioned the photo very appropriately: “#nopicturesplease”

We still don’t know the baby’s gender or name. However, in the photo, it is wearing some pretty cute dinosaur claws. No matter the gender or name, the baby is sure to be adorable as it grows up.

Update: People shared a few more details. It turns out that Bekah had a girl and that she did a water birth for her first child. The baby arrived on Feb. 2 at 10:14 a.m., weighing 7 lbs 10 oz.

Bekah Passes her Due Date

Bekah actually passed her due date a few days ago but stayed positive about the whole situation. Throughout her whole pregnancy, Bekah showed off her pregnant stomach with cute outfits and crop tops. Now, she has welcomed the little bundle of joy into the world.

“I actually have super-human patience right now,” she wrote on her original post. “I know my due date is Tuesday, but I am perfectly at peace with going a couple weeks more. I trust my baby and I trust my body. He or she will come when they’re fully ready for the journey earth-side.”

Bekah waited super patiently for her baby to arrive, and it looks like the baby came nearly a week later than originally expected. Bekah’s patience didn’t waiver though, at least on social media.

When The Bachelor star realized she was pregnant she was in shock. “I was in disbelief and thought, ‘Is this really happening?” Bekah said back in September.

A baby can certainly come as a surprise but Bekah will likely be a wonderful mother to her new bundle of joy.
